As well as the above super exciting dance and circus events, there will also be some free events during the City Encounters weekend on May 29 and 30 including a new duet from Candoco Dance Company, disabled and non-disabled dancers exploring how we fall in and out of love over and over again. More circus events with Circus Geeks + PanGottic taking juggling to a different dimension in Project_Vee and Corey Baker Dance returns in their street theatre piece, Phone Box.
Other free events include beautiful live contemporary dance by Dance Six-0 performed amongst Sophie Ryder’s sculptures in Cathedral Close on June 3 or 4, and the opportunity to take part in a massed haka lead by Corey Baker Dance.
